How to drill drainage hole on your container to use as planter.
I like seeking unique bowl, mug, pot, etc from places like Jalan Jalan Japan, Kedai RM2 and the similar to buy as ‘planter’. Have an interesting pot and cost nothing more than Daiso’s price. As promised to some friends, I done up a less than 1 min video on how to drill hole to these good buys.
Steps: 1. Mark on the container where you want to drill the hole. 2. Place a wood or something that helps you guide the drill and from slipping. 3. Spray water on the surface to keeps the drill bit and the drilling surface cool. 4. Hold the drill straight toward the container, don’t put it in at an angle. 5. Start at low speed. Guide the drill and don’t apply pressure. 6. If you see smoke, you need to spray more water.
Now all containers you like can be planter…
